You’ve got an app ecosystem that is so developed and vibrant that even top console titles like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Final Fantasy IV is in it. And you’ve got all this in a miniscule little smartphone that is miraculously pocketable. But the moment you try and game on that powerhouse wonder-device, a hugely unexpected sense of underwhelming-ness kicks in. Why is that so?

Turbocharged Hill-Climb! SMB98D on 173 [OC500LE]

The SMRT Mercedes-Benz OC500LE is one of the more sluggish buses roaming around in Singapore, with a non-noteworthy engine note and uninspiring acceleration. 

This particular unit, SMB98D, bucks the trend with a roaring turbocharger that kicks in to propel the heavy OC500LE up to speed, something especially needed on a demanding hilly route such as Service 173.

This video follows SMB98D through the hilly roads of Hume Avenue and Toh Tuck Road and ends off at the looping point of Service 173 at Clementi Interchange.
